Introduction
Hi, and welcome to Butterfly Bytes, Web Design by Cindy Sue. While web design remains just something I do for relaxation, serious inquiries from those interested in having something simple, homegrown, and effective will certainly be considered at this time.
Butterfly Bytes methods and webpages are deliberately simple but appear to be effective to date. I set out to put up a website that is geared to find its way into the folds of its appropriate category in Internet searches while remaining as accessible as is possible at this time.
Something that I am very proud of is that these pages represented my first attempts at XHTML, and even better than that, they originally passed the free XHTML 1.0 Transitional validation test offered on the W3C Markup Validation Service webpage. They now pass as XHTML 1.1 with the very rarest of exceptions (my occasional 1.0 Transitionals). My cascading style sheets pass the CSS Validation Service test, too..
Well, I'm off to type up a few more pages then put them up here on the Net. It will take me a little while to work them in amongst some other projects I am working on, so check back occasionally to see if there is anything new. Until then.. :)
